Overview
In the city of Daule, the local government is building a new Bus Terminal, with the aim of modernizing the cantonal and provincial bus stations, in addition to providing better connectivity services to its users.
Project background
With the modernization of the new Terrestrial Terminal, security cameras, IP telephony and bus transport control services will be connected, for which a networking and Wi-Fi solution is needed.
Customer needs
Acquire an cost effective but robust solution that allows network segmentation and provides Wi-Fi coverage for its users.
Solution
To cover the networking needs of the Terrestrial Terminal, an S2900-48P6X was installed as a Core switch, from which the rest of the switches were connected by fiber optics (graph 1). The other switches were distributed among racks for offices and security booths, for the connection of the different security cameras.

The Wifi equipment was adequately distributed by the Terrestrial Terminal, in order to provide wireless coverage to its mobile users. Different VLANs were created for the correct segmentation of the network:

Network Application Advantages：BDCOM network equipments are applied by the Terrestrial Terminal, easy to be set up and to be used , efficiently help the transportation organized, CCTV is safe and clear, all coming in passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi in the Terminal.
